I was talking to a friend the other day who works part-time doing sales for an education centre. She was telling me one day a few months ago the "fire safety" police walked into the centre and immediately told them the building was unsafe and demanded 40K.
Little did they realise they had met their match she went to their office and argued for about 2 hours with them, they kept changing their story, all just BS excuses:
The stairs are not wide enough
The stairs are made from poor materials and would collapse under pressure or heat
