Could be benign, could be something more sinister. Either way, I do suggest that you bring it up. That being said, being direct might seem a little ominous and might freak her out. You might want to try something a little more subtle. Maybe mention you just had your physical done and how while you didn't enjoy your doctor's finger up your chute, that you appreciated it to make sure you weren't in any other trouble and then ask her if she's ever had tests done. Then you can ease into the topic from there. Just a suggestion.
