Had a rough week at work and was looking to unwind, so booked a session at nuru spa. Previously had gone once before based on reports from the forum and had a pretty good experience with a nice massage and good service overall.
Unfortunately this was far from the case this time around. Originally I had booked a time, but the agent kept sending messages that the room was ready earlier and I should come as soon as possible. So I show up a bit earlier than my booking, only to get told to come back in 10 minutes. WTF? Apparently another person was probably slotted in at the last second. So i’m stuck in the building standing around like an idiot and eventually I get ushered in, no small talk or pleasantries (unlike the first visit where the agent was very polite and welcoming, I think success and greed got to her head).
So anyway whatever, I didn’t come here to talk to the agent, no big deal. I head in and the girl just offers a very weak smile. I make an offhand comment on how business seems to be booming here, and unintentionally ruined my entire session. She starts telling me how exhausting things are, while half heartedly going through the shower and skipping all of the shower service, and how she feels like she’s being tortured every minute here. Okay well I thought that sucks but it’s a part of the industry, not everyone can adapt to it. She tells me how the boss has forced gweilos and indians on her despite her promise not to at the start, and how she worked for almost twelve straight hours without a break, and got shouted at by the boss when she wanted to step out for a bit to get some fresh air.
She shows me her shaking hands and complains she’s too tired to give a good massage. Ok so fine, why don’t you take a few minutes to rest I said. So she takes that very literally and calls her boyfriend or husband on the phone, and starts complaining about her “job” here and says she wants to go home. The guy asks if she’s even made the money to cover the travel costs and she says not quite. She starts crying and I’m just lying there awkwardly.
About half an hour has passed and no sign of any service, so I suggest this isn’t working I’ll pay half and leave and then she freaks out and says no and she’s afraid of the consequences. I said it’s fine and it just didn’t work, but she insists we can move on to the nuru or the bed. The nuru service was of course the highlight of this place but all she did was give a handjob with the nuru, which was incredibly disappointing. I asked for a body rub and she said she didn’t know how to do it, then complained again how tiring it was to do the body slide. So which is it? She doesn’t know how or doesn’t want to?
Anyway, at this point it’s a lost cause. She starts to give a pretty decent blowjob actually, though once again she soon gets tired. Turns out the next guy arrived early so as soon as I left the boss lady collects my money and quickly shoos me out of the apartment and then sends the next guy in immediately. The girl didn’t even get a chance to shower...
Anyway a big 1600 mistake and definitely goes to show your experience can vary wildly. Won’t go back again. | |
