[Thailand][Bangkok] Busy 2 nights.
Few free days so went to Bangkok for some fun. And boy Bangkok is always fun. So a quick review of few hotels (CNY really fucked me up and had to move hotels since fully booked), a massage place, a cracker girl and a rather unexpected encounter. Here we go.
First hotel - Grand Sukhumvit - one bedroom apartment.
Certainly very dated hotel but ok. Staff very good, great position - just behind Nana about 5min walk, and not too expensive - 800HKD for one night. I had see on various sights that it was not overly guest friendly and charged 1500 baht per guest. However I did not encounter any problem and no extra charges.
Second hotel - Sofitel Sukhumvit - the cheapest room.
After my travel plans changed (originally only able to go for one night) I needed to look for another hotel. Went to about 10 different places all through Sukhumvit with everything booked solid. Considered a short time hotel to actually stay in for the night but really didn't feel comfortable with my luggage etc so just went to the Sofitel.
As can be expected great hotel, great room and great service. Guests no problem. But 2500HKD a night. So whatever.
