The WC bar scene is open to anybody, even civi girls.
To the non-caucasians, it would seem the bouncers are deliberately trying to keep you out when asking for a high door fee. The bouncers are not racist in any way, they just don't want guys who go in to become bystanders and just watch and not buy any lady-drinks (drinks that are priced higher) for guys to buy for the women or drink only 1 drink (or worse drink only cokes).
Plus the bouncers know 99% of the white guys will drink up a storm and will not be able to remain clear-headed enough to figure out the cost/value of buying so many lady-drinks for ladies they won't be taking home...so white guys get in for free. 
Unfortunately there is no way for the bouncers to determine whether or not you will be spending big bucks in their establishments, ie drinking multiple drinks for yourself and buying lots of lady-drinks. So treat that door fee as an 'introduction fee' on your first visit, then chat many girls, buy many drinks (both ladys' and for yourself), and finally make sure you walk out with a lady of the night. The bouncers will take note of your 'down with the bros' attitude and perhaps let you for free on your next visit...well at least definitely by your 3rd visit after taking another girl out on your 2nd visit too.
I know many local guys, South Asian, and overseas Chinese who get into the WC bars without any problems because they all did the above ground work to prove their 'value' to the bouncers of WC.
So tell your friend, he is welcome to explore the WC bars. | |
