It's true: even in the flaky WG world, Lina is unreliable
I'm writing my report in the Macau section as that's where she's been working of late. You can read it there.
We had an appointment today, made early in the week, and she contacted me last night at a work-related event to ask if I'd booked tickets. Of course I had and I'd sent her an image of the ferry tickets.
Lina's best described as a semi-pro, but so far has been reliable on keeping appointments. She's a bit eccentric but I like that. However, when she was telling me not to come to Macau as she was busy with another guy (I'm not going into circumstances, that's her business), I confess I was not pleased.
As Petay mentioned above, this isn't the first time she's done this, and she's had a host of other problems/excuses. In short: you should think twice before making a date with this freelancer. If she makes it back to HK and starts working again, just have a backup. But be advised that if you're making a special trip to Macau, she doesn't seem concerned with the expense and effort involved. Being brushed off like a fly did not sit well with me.
As ever, YMMV. And if the guy who created a macau.cracker.com ad for her sees this, maybe consider not doing her, or us, any such favors, thanks bro.
