The whole concept of the site being open to public, seems anti-productive for various reasons.

Some have been stated:
- Fear of being seen, causing members to think twice about posting.
- If encounter is transcribed, one might be more inclined to leave out good details.

Second point:
- Causes the community itself to essentially self destruct, over long term.
- Posts which are useful to us, are useful to those looking to stop our fun.
- Who is to know if our posting didn't play into the recent Shanghai fiasco?

Third
- 'Newbies' posting all these one liners
- This is a diverse topic, but I see it fair to state, in General:
   less restriction means more un-invested users, asking for handouts.
