Once one discovers one can sleep over in any of those larger saunas in China/HK/Macau, one doesn't need a hotel room ever again for short trips. The only times I get a hotel in these places are when I am visiting with family or I need a place for a visit longer than 2 days.
Once you enter a sauna, you can even ask the saunas for a wake-up call. I have gotten quite good at sleeping on those massage beds. In some rooms, when there is a 2nd massage bed in room, I would move that bed over next to mine so I can have a large sleeping area. Also let your masseuse know too that you are staying over so she can bring over a nice blanket (if they have one). | |
