"It is not true some preferences are more honorable than others, nor can we say some choices are more vulgar than others. If you prefer intelligence to appearance, does it mean you are more honorable? If you choose to be with someone just because of sex, does it mean you are more vulgar? In the world of grownups, all we need are consent and happiness, and to know what we really want.

"Nothing seems to go right this month.
Sometimes, sitting in the subway and looking at the sunset in Isle of Man,
Tears rolled down unconsciously.
But I know that no matter what troubles and decisions I am facing,
In that faraway yet intimate place,
There are two people who care about me deeply.
They are forever my strongest support.
For a long time I have been thinking of the kind of person I want to become.
I want to be an independent person, relying on no one.
I want to be a shiny, cool girl.
But turning around,
I am just an ordinary person.
What I am striving to do, however,
Is to become a daughter you can be proud of.
I am already a 21 year-old grownup.
This time I am determined not to cry.
