@J_D: I think if you are after a satisfying no-bad-surprises outcall, your best bet is to start by visiting some of the massage+hj/bj places reviewed in this forum. For example, Sakura in Shekou (see here), or one of the many places in Louhu.
Once you meet a girl there that you would like to spend some quality time with in the privacy of your hotel room, ask her for her wechat and whether she's willing to come for a massage in your hotel room. Sure, this is a bit more groundwork than calling up a number you found on the web, but the search process is fun in itself (as pointed out by hotjac above), and your results are pretty much guaranteed to be much better, for half the price or less.
