I totally understand where you're coming from. If youu're looking to take the edge off your nerves, stick with a couple of drinks though. If you're that edgy about doing g something legal here, then you have no hope of finding anything elsee. As someone else mentions the topic is off limits I'll say no more.
Other thought, some of the walk-ups can be a bit grotty, which won't increase your feelings of security.
Best bet, take a look on Craigslist and arrange a meeting with a freelancer who takes your fancy - either at your hotel, or take a room in one of the Villa Victoria love hotels, and then send the number.
