I was at Thermae last sunday during a long layover in BKK. I didn't really have the time to pull a bird for a boink so I sat around and watched the goings-on with punter from California I had met earlier at the Stumble Inn. He was a local expat for 12 years in Thailand and lives near Pattaya. He filled me in on a lot of the details that us transient guys miss.
The place was packed with girls at 9 pm sunday but not that many punters. No more than 30 or so punters at any one time. Of those there looked to be about 75% Japanese and maybe a few Korean and the rest were western farang. I must admit that most of the Japanese were trying to dress like New York urban rappers and it just doesn't translate. I was embarrassed for them. I did see one huge 6'4" fat bellied American dood walk up to several girls with no success. After he pinged on one girl she ran to her friends after he turned away and I saw her holding her hands as if describing dick size as they laughed and made fun of him.
We were on the right side and I did make good eye contact and smiles with many of the girls and I got the impression most of those I made eye contact with would have gone with me had I pursued further effort. I was definitely a buyers market however as there were almost no punters.
On a side note, in Nana I bought some of those vitamin V gel packs at a pharmacy to bring home to HK. I've never tried those before - haven't really needed to but after my red-eye flight I was exhausted and I was supposed to meed Sex Bomb after returning in the morning. Good time to try one I though to myself. Holy shit! I took a whole one on my way to wanchai and 15 minutes later I was poking a long nose down my trowsers. It was difficult to hide as we walked to the hotel. I had wood like I was 22 years old and it just kept going. Sex Bomb was in heaven for the whole 3 hours. Next time I'm only going to take half or less. I only needed a boost not a full blast off from a dead stop. They cost 50Baht each. Much cheaper than in HK I hear.
