It is a shame but hookers are a logical target for psychopaths who get their kicks hurting women. They are very vulnerable, so this will always attract the wankers who hurt them because they are easy targets. The emphasis really comes down to the police and prosecution services who should treat cases like this as no different to if a civvie girl was beaten up or raped (sexual act that is not consensual). They don't though, and usually because working girls are so scared of being outed as hookers as well, they hardly ever report it.
You would hope that the people who profit from them whoring themselves would have some sort of protection for them, but this does not seem to be the case. | |
