At heart I'm a shy guy so the idea of hordes of pretty girls at Wanchai bars wanting to talk to me is great. And what I've really learned this trip is that they don't bite. To smile back and have a chat does not oblige to fuck (and pay). It can be just fun and nothing more. That was the easy lesson to (finally) learn. But I'm not just shy. I hope I'm a decent guy as well and I do genuinely adore women. So I've found it harder to rebuff the ones I don't fancy.
