4 seasons hotel is a ~5 minute walk away from the embassy. they have afternoon tea sets for (includes assortment of cakes and tea)
lowest prices starts at 3xx i can't remember but of course there are different tiers and sets, like if you don't want cake you don't have to get cake.
i know some people don't have a sweet tooth. the views really nice too it's one of the tallest buildings in GZ.
there's also an ok dimsum place if you are in hua cheng guang chang with your back to canton tower it's the first building on your left. i can't think of the
name but it should be easy to find with that description. the price is kinda expensive for average quality but they do have giant "ha gaos" (shrimp dumpling)
that are pretty cool
