To get back to the original question, I've found my own style has changed a little with age. Now I like even more to be able to chat, or even better, have a laugh with the woman (one reason I love the Thais who come here: quite good English and often wicked senses of humour, TR Emmanuel in particular). No rushing is brilliant.
The women themselves tell me there are large cultural differences in terms of what guys expect/demand, and what they give in return.
Then there are universal issues, like kindness, thoughtfulness and little gifts being highly appreciated.
