I am the king of splash and dash! 3 hour stop overs can't beat me.
Anyway hop onto the airport express, grit your teeth at the rip off fare. From the plane to get out to the Airport express terminal will take you 15-20 minutes depending on which terminal the plane lands at. If it is near then its a quick jog to immigration.
If it is far it means waiting for an airport train.
If you have HKID it is 30 seconds through immigration. If not 10 minutes longer if it is during the day.
Hop on the airport express 30minutes to get to the MTR as the AE has a long ass walk to the MTR terminal (9 minutes if you run).
Now you have 3 options:
Sheung wan not so good one building but very close to the MTR station. Sheungwan is a deep station and requires 2 sets of elevators and stairs.
Across the water to TST where there are 2 main buildings Champagne court and JSL mansion. TST station is HUGE the closest to get out is Hanoi road to get to JSL. Champs court is farther away.
There is also Causeway bay, deep station two elevators, one set of stairs Lockhart road is your target. Close by is Hop Yee, its bloody hard to find. There is also Fuji after the overpass. 20 floors of 4 WG flats each.
My personal choice for 3 hours would be CWB with 1hour travelling there and 1 hour travelling back would be CWB but I can run marathons and I don't get tired.
. But for 6 hours I would give myself 3.5 of those (1 to get out of the airport to HK and 1.5 to get back). I would go for either TST or CWB. TST JSL is much close to the station but as said TST station is like a whole city underground. | |

Wouldn't it be easier to get off the MTR at Kowloon Park? |
