Reminds me of a story...
Back in the US around 1997 or 1998, internet escorting was just starting to take off, and escort ads were few and far between. The BigDoggie started a list of "top US escorts" in about April 1997. To get on the list, an escort only needed to be considered "reputable" (i.e., not LE and not a scam). At the beginning, there were 10 escorts listed across the whole of the US.
The top woman on the list was a late 30s woman in Houston -- mature yes, but great looking and fantastic in bed. I saw her a few times and eventually asked her if she'd like to go to dinner (on the clock) before coming back for a few hours of sex. She thought about it for a few seconds and said "yes", but hesitatingly... I asked why the hesitation? She said she had to think about it. In her words, "Fucking guys is easy... talking with them is much harder."
