Too angry to comment, except that the USA has become more corrupt than Nigeria.
Living in Vegas, a town where half the locals have done time, and the other half will probably do so eventually, has made a Republican out of me. The problem is Eric Holder, the US Attorney General and a Democrat, is making a Libertairan out of me.
Here's what this is probably about.
Redbook took ads from one pimp too many, without realizing that some of those girls handled were underage. Also, made the mistake of having servers in the USA (most adult sites use NL, or at least a proxy). The servers for this site, IIRC, are located in Dallas Tx, but should have zero liabilty.
The US capital of child trafficking are two cities in the Midwest: Omaha NE (boys) and Kansas City (girls). It's been going on for decades, the Feds know about it, but do nothing. Some say they are powerless. Much easier to make up shit against the messenger.
I'm betting Red beats this. In the USA, third party operators of websites are not liable for content posted on the site, subject to some restrictions. This case is really about the First Amendment.
