It depends on a lot of things.  Venue, girl experience, time...
For example, a walk-up will usually follow a script and trying to get her to vary from it can lead to bad service.  Many of these girls want to do the job with as little thinking as possible.

A bar girl can easily be led by you.

I like to break the routine with sauna girls on the mainland, especially when it's a 90 minute or more session.  The GFE goes way up.  However in Macau I usually let the girl do her thing becasue they tend to be very good, and the time is not as long.  D1 I also let the girl follow her routine.

A long time ago someone taught Chinese girls that nipple licking was a good thing, and now they all believe it.  I used to tell them not to bother, but now it isn't worth it.  Let them do it for 30 seconds.
