Tea with sauna mamasan - GZ
Just want to give an update on the GZ situation via afternoon conversation with a mamasan from a former haunt of mine.
I had her wechat and she wants me to teach her English, hehe. Last time I visited her sauna was three or four months ago. It's in Haizhu district by Shayuan station exit D, FYI. It is a sauna offering FS for 300rmb.
Went to her place for tea, and some of her friends were there...definitely looked like sauna girls, and real flirty. Maybe some free action involved in the future? I hope.
Anyway, the situation is this -- sauna is closed, not even doing veggie service. She said she expects the sauna to reopen in May, in line with the 3 month crackdown timeframe. However, this is not guaranteed, and no one seems to be sure about anything.
Too add to this, I've been texting a foshan sauna girl (DG style sauna) and she has been put on "vacation" also until May. So it looks as though May is the month saunas are looking to for re opening their doors.
Perhaps because the GZ sex industry wasn't near as overt as DGs, I suspect things will go back to what they were before the crackdown.
Foshan I'm not so sure about, as it was the target of another 3 month crackdown less than six months before the current one. I do fear DG style sauna service may be a thing of the past...truly tragic if this is the case. | |
