Guangzhou Report
Quick report, as there is not much to report.
April 15, 16, and 17. Nansha area, Guangzhou. LE all over the place, or what looks like LE to my untrained eye. Lobby of the hotel, on the street, in the KTV. Arrived about 12pm on April 14. After check into the Hotel, was a outdoor beer bar around the corner. I went down for one beer. As it ended up I met a bunch of locals, including 2 LE (at least I think they were LE, thery were in uniform with epaulets on their shoulders and stars on them.) Drank way too many beers  with them until about 3 am. They decided I should meet them the next night to go to some better places, including KTV. The next evening, 11pm, was picked up at the hotel by the one who spoke some (limited) English and proceeded to a veggie (I think) KTV, at least didn't seem to be any girls available. Off to a disco, only a few girls inside with each girl surrounded by 5 or 10 guys, all locals. Out for a late night snack and back to hotel about 3 am. My thought was that if there is any action to be found, the locals should know. Bad idea---boring evening. If that was their idea of fun, I'll pass! Supposed to meet them again the next night but just stayed in the room and read a book! 
Totally dry three days for me. Oh well, I go to my normal stomping ground on the 1st of May. I understand all is on the down low, but OK. At least as far as the KTV's go. (My normal choice is for the KTV and the fun and girls there. The rub and tug in a massage, or get in line for "next" in a Sauna doesn't really do it for me.) My hotel can be entered discreetly and the KTV connects to the hotel without going through the lobby or outside. I have several "friends" there and can be assured of being taken care of properly, and with great GFE. mrclen | |
