Maybe they intentionally timed the crackdown to occur now precisely so that most of the girls are still away. And upon hearing about this crackdown they will decide not to return.
CCTV has planned for the news release since December 2013. It sounds like the whole thing was meticulously preplanned at the highest government level.
BTW, I agree with the above that mongering won't completely go away in DG. My point was that it probably won't return to its former glory days of ubiquitous SNs boasting such wide selection and excellent value, which has been the whole point of dragging my butt all the way to DG in the first place. If the mongering scene becomes similar to that of SZ and ZH (relatively narrow variety and expensive), then the attractiveness of DG as the punt capital of choice greatly diminishes. This is the worst-case scenario and I hope I am wrong. |
