Anyway, there are going to be a minority of gals that choose not to go back to their hometowns during CNY for various reasons. Since you already planned out your trip to Changping, you might as well spend it wisely.
1. SN, you won't get discounts for multiple guests. You won't get discounts even if you have 10 of you. The only way to get a discount is if you call ahead with a manager. The discount is just 40-60 RMB so don't bother. Go visit various SN that you've seen here - Virgin, Meibao, King Long, Walter are among the better ones. Almost every largish hotel has a SN on one of their floors.
2. KTV F street doesn't start till evening (depending on the KTV it can be at 6 to 7.30). Since its a weekday, you can usually just walk in to a KTV and ask if there's a free room and you will be attended to quickly. Usually without booking you don't get the usual 8-12% discount. Alternatively, you can choose to participate in a mixer KTV run by an agent - where you join a larger group and fork out something like 350-450 RMB for a single choice of drink. | |
