I have the Note 3 and I have been using it for about 45 days.  All I can say is that I love it so far.  If you are okay with the larger size from a carry perspective I think the device is a winner.

I doubt the comment that it is slower than the IPhone 5S.  My wife has the 5S and I have not seen any speed advantage in the iPhone over the Note 3.  I was using the 5 myself for almost 6 months before moving to the Note. I have no regrets.

Pros:
Speed
Screen resolution
32GB internal standard memory, I added a 64GB micro-SD card, so 96GB storage on my phone.  Hell, my MacBook Air only has 128GB of storage.  It is a beast from a storage aspect.
NFC capability.  My new Sony RX100 Mark II camera is NFC enabled and these two together are a dream from use and storage options.
Battery life. I've yet to kill the battery.  I've gotten close, but have not ran it dead as of yet.  I'm a heavy user of data, I exceeded my 2.5GB allotment for the month this month in 10 days.
Added Extras: not sure on the international versions, but on my US version once I registered with Dropbox I received 48GB of free storage for 24 months.  I auto upload all my photos to DB and it really makes keeping private photos private and keeps my storage levels low.

Cons:
Size.  It is a plus and a minus.  If you can palm a basketball, then the size won't be an issue.
Cost. Really, they are all about the same, but it is expensive.

Good luck on your choice.
