I have a TMO unit I take international with me now but never used. I added the service to my plan for $0 so I will see how it works in HK and BKK later this month. One downside is that Macau isn't in the roaming plan.
I'll end up buying their 2 week 500MB plan to cover me when I hit the non-plan locations. Also, the 2 week is 3/4G speeds. | |

I think Macau is in the new roaming plans. At least, I saw it on the list. Will try next week. |
