Not able to do word for word translation but essentially the girl got conned 10k rmb from someone off WeChat. She was approached via WeChat and was offered 2k to do overnight with a "Mr Lo" and after chatting a while agreed. When she was picked up in the car Mr Lo claimed to be with Interpol investigating a case where a HK local was conned out of 200k and they suspected she had something to do with it. He told her he was going to drive her to the police station for questioning. They convinced her to give up her bank card and pin to prove that she didnt have 200k in her account, used it to withdraw 10k cash, dropped her off then fled the scene. | |
