Alone in China
Not a new thread! Wrong again!! Delete it!
As an older (you wouldn't believe it) white American, I travel to China 4 to 5 times each year. The first few times I really didn't know what was available. After being taken to KTV by my supplier I realized that I had my head up my ass and blinders on. I now look forward to each trip with great anticipation (14 more days!) and partake of most of what is available. I am alone a lot of the time but usually do only the KTV's as they are more my style, (I can't quite get over the "next" approach of the massage and saunas) and really enjoy the play time and drawing out a session with one or multiple girls. KTV alone is not hard to do if you have the right attitude, and as mentioned many times before, get ALL the costs up front so you will know what you are dealing with and what to expect. Opposed to some of the other posts, I have never been refused a take out, but I make that clear up front that's what I expect. I can stumble around a little bit in Mandarin, but rely on the translator app in my phone for most of the necessary communication. For an alone experience, I always go to the KTV in the hotel I am staying in as you are the guest there and they are not likely to try to rip you off as it is a very bad idea for repeat business! Plus it is very easy to just take the girl or down to your room.
I also, after several trips and many girls, have a few regulars I can call on that will show up almost whenever I ask, but I have forgotten to get telephone numbers way too many times!
Good luck and BTW, I lived in Bangkok for 1 year a long long time ago! mrclen
