go along during the week, when they're quiet, they'll be glad of the business ... make sure to buy some drinks ...
then do it again, on another quiet night
once they recognise you as a regular, there's a good chance you'll be let in without a charge on busy nights.
Can't comment on Escape / etc. - my intel from experience is at another place at another time (a place that was very popular at that time) - but it's worked in the past.
