I guess we can keep this thread alive with the advent of the new forum area on social media. If there is any other view on starting something new in that area I will be happy to move things over to the new thread.
In my recent travels I made my way up to the great Northwest US. I followed my normal pattern of reviewing profiles a few weeks out from my trip and trying to select a few "target" ladies for my travel. I am in the area this time for about two weeks so I made a few more offers than normal. Total offers this time was 4.
Full disclosure for this area is that I have a few active ladies that I have seen before in this area and they are normally available for a meet up when I text them my travel plans. However, variety is the spice of life right. Thus my need to find some new friends.
My four selections this trip varied from 19-38 years old. I was able to receive acceptance from each of the ladies I reached out to on the site. Some had limited times of availability during my trip and others were wide open. As others such as Wander, DaBestHK and Jetsetting have called out, scheduling is one of the biggest challenges of making WYP successful. I set out to get in at least two of my dates set up for my first few nights in town.
Date#1
Face: 3/5 - She isn't a stunner. I almost passed due to her WYP photo, but I remembered what I look like and sent over the offer, $50
Body: 4/5 - She's tall, 5'8" or more. I'm short, ask Gherk or Wander, both tower over me, I was surprised how tall she seemed, even more than her actual height. She has a large A cup probably, blondish hair, an amazing ass, she is a cross-country runner and it shows in her ass for sure. She is not a spinner at all. She is a physical site. All muscle with just enough softness in the fun parts.
Atitude: 5/5 - Cautious. Inquisitive. Freaking intelligent. In bed she had a show me more type of attitude.
Age: 22
Skills: 3/5 - This 3 is not a bad thing. She gets a 6 for willingness and effort. She has just clearly not been with many men in her young life.

As I said above, I almost passed on this girl because her single WYP photo looked like a bad senior photo, turns out it was. But her profile intrigued me and I sensed a sincerity in her profile that I was interested in investigating. After my initial offer, it was low, $50, mostly due to the photo, she accepted. I opened communication with her and we set about texting over the next couple of weeks. I call this the Cyrano phase. Those of you that are aware of the French duelist Cyrano de Bergerac that was both real and a character in the play by Rostand will understand my meaning. This is your chance to win her over. Sight unseen. This works particularly well, as if in my case, in person, from a looks perspective, is not where you shine your brightest. I believe that texting is the average looking guy's best friend. Women, much more than men are drawn to more than appearance. If you are effective at engaging a woman through texting, I am confident that she will, even if you may not be an Adonis, be open to sitting down with you and enjoying a nice date together. Once I get in at this point, I am normally good to go.
We decided to meet at a quite little place in the downtown area. She was a little late and texted to let me know. She told me that she was going to be wearing a red dress. As I watched I didn't see any red dresses that looked like her in the area. Surprising how many women in that area that evening we wearing red dresses. I spied a girl that looked to be the correct height, but was much more attractive than the girl in the photos. She had my description as well. This very pretty girl approached me and asked, "Jake?". Perfect!
So we ate and we talked and very quickly I knew she was no ordinary WYP girl. This girl is smart. Like graduated from the top Women's college in the US smart. She is Caucasian, speaks fluent Mandarin(sp) I can't speak it or spell it. Just landed a new job with one of the top consulting firms in the US. At every turn I was impressed with this girl's intellect. I don't think I had to explain myself once nor did she miss a single sarcastic comment I made during our date. I was lost in our conversation.
After we finished our meal we talked until the place was closing. Her trips to China to help start small business project, her time in Europe studying in France and Germany. Even conversations about current events, a particular favorite pastime of mine. She was my equal or surpassed me in almost every conversation. I am impressed.
As we left she told me that her bus was down the street. She rode the bus to our date also. I volunteered to drive her the medium distance we were back to her house. A little shy or wary, not sure which she declined. I told her I was happy to do it, she relented and off we went to her house. We parked near her building and talked a little more about why in the hell she was on WYP. A friend had givin it a try and she did it as support for her friend. I was her first actual date from the site. (Previous readers know this is my favorite situation). A quick kiss on the cheek and a fond farewell until her next availability.
