Hi,

I'm just wondering whether bros have had any experience having rented a apartment or a service apartment in either Luohu or Futian in SZ or CP/Dalang/ZMT in DG for just a short rental period of 20-25 days.
This is what I know:

1. Manhattan in Swan Lake does do something like that - but I don't know the state of the apartments - I have heard it's horrible.
2. I know of several airbnb like options in China (xiaozhu.com and mayi.com) But while SZ is well served, DG is not. Also it's troublesome to book via those sites if you are currently not in China
3. Some options include Guancheng Hotel in the Capital Club which is an option, but the room is small - goes for 200RMB/night for a minimum of a month's booking else it's 238/268.

Anyone?

i have rented a duplex in Manhattan for 3 yrs.
the first year rent was 1,300 RMB / month... 2nd year onwards increased to 1,500 RMB.
fully furnished with working TV, fridge, air-con, heater.

as I stood downstairs at the open-air carpark, my first impression of Manhattan is "hmm not bad."
then I stepped into the lift "hmm, kinda stuffy and smelly"
lift door opened, I walked along the dark and wet corridor, I thought "what the fuck? looks damn gloomy..."
then I went into the apartment, close the door, then everything seems acceptable.

FYI, there has been 1 case of murder and 2 cases of suicide at Manhattan.
if you are ok with that, then Manhanttan is a pretty nice place with decent security and management.
Best of all, it is near to Mayflower (KTV), BoYue (Disco), Meibao (Sauna).
