Macau will be more appreciated by feet so if i were you, it's better to walk and discover Macau for yourself.
Macau offers free shuttle services from the hotels at the old Macau City to other hotels located at Cotai and vice versa.
You can tour Macau for free w/o spending a single cent if you can maximize and wisely use the free shuttle rides from point to point.
Also be wise to take home free bottled water offered free from inside the casinos to save from buying drinks.
