I have to say its all about how you handle the damn thing as people download tons of crap and install too much stuff to slow the computer down also can happen to the mac. I got an old HP which is 7 years old runs still like a pro just only start up time is really long, but it still does everything and don't crash allot as I don't have games on it but old software which I work with. Other hand have a brand new mac book pro and safari and finder crashes allot and from time to time need to restart as some crazy error occurs also there see, to be a file in my trash that I just cannot delete.

Have to say i am ok using a mac but even a clean install for me it crashes more than a clean installed windows.
