Yes I do mean for it to be condescending (if thats how you perceive it) or just a poke in humour as most others would take it. No it doesn't feel weird to use it I find it rather giggle worthy. " BROS"  .
If one cant laugh at him self then he's no right to laugh at others. A lot of what I say here has a double edge,and I make no apologies for that.
