for completeness:  
you can get a through-train from Guangzhou East, which takes you all the way into Hung Hom KCR station in Kowloon. You go through Chinese Immigration control in Guangzhou, and then pass Hong Kong immigration at Hung Hom.   
This through train is a bit more comfortable, and much less hassle if you have luggage, than walking across the border at LoWu.  

Then from Hung Hom KCR to your hotel, take a taxi.  MTR is possible but involves several changes plus a 5 minute walk - again, avoidable hassle unless you're trying to save every $.  Taxi from Hung Hom to CWB is probably around HK$70, and any time outside of the rush-hour will be very fast.
