I am curious as to how do you determine a person's background. Do you ask them questions before meeting up, meet them for coffee first, then ask them, or ask them once you get in the hotel room?

Plus you must be an expert in accents and cultural terminology that you can possibly tell if a person is lying about his nationality? I may have to go to acting school so I can adopt an Australian accent.
