What you did is the right thing in my opinion. Contacting the girl immediately and then coming here to post the outcome of that discussion. Good form.
This way mui mui had the very small window of opportunity to:
1. prove her innocence by showing the results of tests taken since your visit ( not impossible if tested regularly)
2. get tested straight away
....before bros were informed here.
If she gave lab results straight away, members would know immediately that she was not responsible for your illness and doesn't have it now (proof of innocence that i alluded to earlier).
Or, if it is explained that she was getting tested and results were forthcoming, bros would receive timely info about a potential risk but also it would display some level of respect to the girl who has now been given the chance to prove her innocence more swiftly!!!! The amount of damage to her business would be minimal if it is explained she is awaiting the tests - maybe one or two days of lost business from members here. But the medium term rewards of getting a clean bill of health and bros knowing that she cared about her health by getting tested ( like Gigi) would give a lasting good impression.
What mui mui is doing now (ie saying she is not infected without getting tested) allows bros to decide whether to remove her from their to-root list. Failure to act after being informed should incur serious loss and hopefully that will force her to act.
