I had messaged you in regards to this comment. But i wanted to share with everyone on this board. What i meant was ASians in Asia. For some reason, once they go to the states, canada or any western country, their attitudes and outlook in life changes. They come more self absorbed and feel more entitled. All of a sudden when they go to a western country, they feel like they are more important and deserve "more"
You take a Southern California Vietnamese girl and she's got an attitude and pretty pompous. It's the American culture that a guy should put a girl on a pedestal. But when you go vietnam and find a girl who never left vietnam, and she's very humble and a lot more pleasant to be around. I have always said that western culture has poisoned the balance of Asian culture.
Even American laws, and HK is following this practice as well, are written to serve the interests of women in general and not that of men. During divorce proceedings, women almost always gets custody of the kids. Men need to pay up the ass in alimony even if the women earns quite a bit of money as well. NO wonder marriage rates are dropping off significantly everywhere. the laws make it so that women have more inventive to exit a marriage than to stay together. When they sign that marriage certificate, it's basically their lottery ticket, so that if one day she decides to leave you for any reason- even if she finds another man, she can divorce you and take your assets and future income.
That really does explain why younger men are reluctant to get married. Even if they do they are getting smarter with prenuptials. Women fire back and say prenuptial agreements areso "unromantic." But honestly, be unromantic and save your ass. If a women won't marry you because of a prenup you are:
1. marrying a golddigger
2. Marrying a women who's flat broke
I have never seen a rich women say no to a prenuptial agreement before. This also explains why people marry with women in the same social class as well, which is widely prevalent in HK , china and elsewhere in the whole world. but then again that's another topic to get into.
So if you have a GF in an asian country and you live in a western country and you plan on being together long term. You better move to that asian country she's in. Because once you take her back to your western country, she will change and usually for the worse:
1. she'll get fatter
2. she'll get bichier
3. she'll act and demand more from you emotionally and financially
