It could be that you hear those stories because they're memorable, rather than because they're common.
For me, I've found anal more common among white WGs. And by "common" I mean 1-2 out of 10, so not all that common. I've had a couple of Asian semi-pros that are enjoying FIR during intercourse so I plan on upgrading at least one of those regulars to full on anal . . . but it's a crap shoot (pun intended)! 
I don't worry about asking them to "clean" first. The lower colon is normally empty except immediately prior to a girl feeling the urge to poop. So you normally have a clear shot at things. Try a little poke in the pooter with your pinky and if it comes out brown, defer to another day, but if it comes out clean, have at it!   |
