This thread indicates idle chat, encouraging chit-chat, so IMO the ''anything goes'' nature is suitable for this section. I have always been against using karma to encourage contribution of this sort, and despite you saying that automatic Karma distribution stopped after April 1, a lot was still distributed - I even noticed a generic rating comment being used to thank contribution a few pages back. If the regulars of this thread (e..g. Ashdragon) are posting because they enjoy the chit-chat (rather than for credit), they'll continue to do so. To date, it's been a good thread for those interested in discussing anything, so hopefully it'll continue to serve that purpose. | |
