I was recently in TST, having dinner with an old friend in town for the night. After a few pints we split up. I was walking down Nathan Road near Chungking Mansion. After being verbally assaulted with offers of copy watches, tailors and hashish a WG or MMS approached (hard to tell).
"Hi. How are you? Where are you staying?"
"Hey!" I replied, "There," pointing at Chungking Mansion.
She turned up her nose. ""Very cheap," she said, her jocular tone now gone. She walked away without another word or offer.
