I used to feel uncomfortable being alone in a restaurant or bar. In a normal restaurant I'd bring a book or a magazine to keep me company. But then one day I was like, fuck it. When I am at home alone I like to have a quiet drink and think. So why not sit and drink alone in public and think? So I started drinking in bars by myself, and found that I loved it. Even in civvie bars, being alone is like an excuse to meet new people. In a WG bar, it's pretty much an invitation.

At a place like wanchai, going in by myself, ordering a double of jack (always neat) and just finding a table to sit and watch the shenanigans can be as good as watching a movie. And when that get boring, ou can call over any girl Yu want and have a chat. Once I did it a couple times, it got damn near addicting.

I don't think I'll ever want a wingman.
