I am not sure we are not being a little bit too jaded about marriage. It is a partnership in life, and has tremendous value to me. I fuck around, to be sure, but I am damn happy to go home to a woman, who thru thick and thin, has my back. She has supported me in everything and took on a lot of shit so I could just do my job and get us ahead. I gotta great family and she takes care of the 1,000 little things that need taking care of.
I suppose one agreement we reached early on was this: If she was going to stay home while I worked my ass off, than she must take care of EVERYTHING --- I do not want to spend my precious free time during evenings or weekends doing errands of ANY kind. My free time is to be spent enjoying life (usually with the family, but sometimes not). She doesnt ask me ever, and she doesnt complain about it or nag ever -- she agrees we have a good deal, a good partnership. She lives well because of what I do, and I live well because of what she does. | |
