Which although, IMHO, a bit of an over-simplification, is nonetheless very correct.
To me, that this happens in too many marriages is a travesty - and one that could/SHOULD be nipped very early in the bud. Let's face it, us guys are usually way more in love (or more accurately, in lust) than our gals when contemplating marriage. We really MUST BE as we're there proposing to underwrite the rest of HER life...thru thick and thin and all that... whilst all she's really agreed to is just to spread her legs for the rest of her life for you. I mean...how unequal is THAT??!!
Anyway, I digress; just take it as the truth that we guys must all be on crack cocaine when proposing marriage! But it's still NOT too late even then...if we set OUR RULES AND EXPECTATIONS on the line.
Its totally acceptable for us males to set these rules as we ARE the male of the combination - but alas - too many times I've seen that husbands do NOT even realize this and blissfully let their wives get away with crap!
Just IMHO only of course!
