As far as I'm concerned, my blurring makes it impossible to POSITIVELY identify the particular person (yes, of course IMHO!!) and thus provides that one more layer of protection for the individual depicted...whether from the LE or from friends/relatives who MAY stumble upon them. Of course the forum RA requirements is a given - but does it really provide much as there ARE determined hackers etc who will manage to get the forum pictures no matter how high the RA's set!
Your own practice of putting up full face pictures - you REALLY feel comfortable with your practice? Remember, the internet is forever and a lot of these gals - they do NOT remain WG's all their lives - and in fact I'd suggest that most plan to leave the profession as soon as they've got their stake to jump-start their own regular life.
So... say your Indonesian girl whose FULL FACE you showed on the previous pages here #33 - don't you know that prostitution is VERY illegal in Muslim Indonesia and even if the LE don't do nothing to her - if these fanatics who goes around in their white robes every Ramadan smashing all the "Unholy Places" ever see YOUR picture, they WILL hunt her down and....!! And how about her probable future husband/in laws, never mind her own family/friends RIGHT NOW?
And even all these HG's willingly allowing mongers to take AND POST UP their pictures as they want to get as much publicity/business that they can during their short sojourn here. Pathetic naivete! Worse, they are encouraged and even coerced by their pimps (whose only interest is to get as much return for their "investment" as possible) to so allow by lying to them that this site is NOT accessible from China - and thus NOT putting themselves in danger. No harm in letting them put up your pictures on the forum - it will bring you the required publicity to bring all sort of business! Yeah - right!!
Well, yes, the DB pages have been programmed to NOT be accessible from the PRC except by VPN/proxy and our forum USED to also only be so accessible. But as of a couple years ago, this and the Chinese FORUM pages have been freely accessible from China....but of course these pimps still tell them that our site has a double layer of protection i.e. the way its programmed as well as the Chinese Great Firewall.
So NO CL - I ain't gonna go along with your "stance" as IMHO your stance really stinks to high heaven!! Sorry guy - it's IMHO after all! And now you're gonna be bleating that since this is my stance, that I should do a "better" job of blurring my pictures - right? Sorry Jose - again NO - as IMHO, I already have made sure that the individual cannot be positively identified by my blurring; and lets face it - who on this forum wants to see a face so distorted as you would think it proper.
