Virginboy, your condition is common. It's called psychopathy. See Wikipedia:
Psychopathy ... is a personality disorder characterized by a pervasive pattern of disregard for the rights of others and the rules of society. Psychopaths have a lack of empathy and remorse, and have very shallow emotions. They are generally regarded as callous, selfish, dishonest, arrogant, aggressive, impulsive, irresponsible, and hedonistic.
There is no cure for psychopathy. Basically assholes remain assholes their entire lives. Interestingly, it's not completely their fault, as psycopathy is very heriditable.
So long as you don't murder anyone, I think you'll be all right. By that I mean, you'll live out your life like the rest of us punters, just with far fewer friends, a lot of people who hate your guts, and a general lack of respect from friends and foes alike. |
