1. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
2. Non-Asian women...especially Americans, tend to be a little larger in stature. I'm not saying fat (even if many of them are). Don't forget, Marilyn Monroe was a size 12. Hence....larger / thicker girls to Asian guys...might still be considered petite for non-Asian guys.
3. Some non-Asian guys find Asian women attractive because of the "exoticism". That is entirely cultural in upbringing. While it's SLOWLY changing, an Asian is still SUPPOSED to have slanted eyes. None of my asian friends think Lucy Liu is good looking. Majority of my Non-Asian friends think Lucy Liu is wicked hot.
4. Non-Asians think of darker skin as healthy and luxurious. It means you have the ability to hang out at the beach all day. Asians associate darker skin to those who are FORCED to work outside... hence...poor and lower class.
5. Stereotyping... the prototypical stereotype of an asian woman to non-asians is that she's meek and submissive.
Obviously, there are more factors...but these 5 seem prevailing in my own head. but just looking at these 5 things, of course there are differences in Asian and non-Asian taste towards Asian women. =)~
