Maybe there's more to this interrogatory than I'm seeing, but I read the OP's intent as that he didn't venture out of Wan Chai for 4 days, not that he didn't venture out of the hotel for 4 days. Seemed like a natural read to me, to wit:
"Had planned on going many other places [like TST, etc.] from there but got totally sucked in [to the Wan Chai scene] and didn't venture out [of the neighborhood] for 4 days"
That's all IMHO of course, what am i missing? | |
