A lot of people have a preference for white over asian (god knows why) and if they find themselves in Asia on business and want some action it is logical they will still want their preference. Also, expats that live out here can get bored with too much local action and a bit of white is then craved for as something different in the same way that people in the west crave Asian as a respite to the white girls they do all the time.
