Also, as a relative newcomer to this board (only 1 year+ of active membership as compared to 4 years+ by some of the senior bros), the good thing about this thread is that it is very friendly. You can come in here and just post anything and someone will gladly entertain your question, provided you're not being retarded or posting some outright nonsense. It helps to make the board seem less clique-ish and more welcoming to newbies. They don't have to worry so much about whether their posts are too short or doesn't really add value to the board. What results is a membership that's consistently growing...more importantly, it builds up an active membership too. Newbies won't be daunted so fast and they'll be more likely to stay.

On a totally unrelated note, I read today in the news about Sun Hung Kai bosses getting arrested by the ICAC. With the new boss in HK coming in, it'll be quite interesting to see what other scandals will be dug up. I'm guessing that the big businesses must now arranging high level internal meetings in the next week or so to assess whether they too have any previous dealings that may be potentially exposed by the new incoming administration. | |
